Metanoia - Garden & City

Just over a month ago, we hosted Garden & City, our seventh METANOIA leadership formation experience. Focused on beauty and the arts, this culminating episode drew on the metaphor of our inner life as a garden and the city as the place where we live out our testimony.

Our best-attended weekend to date began with Sabbath and continued each day with early morning prayer and exhortation in the chapel. The sessions were enriching and thought-provoking. We were encouraged not only by the lives and insights of our contributors, but also by testimonies of recent healings among participants.

The open-mic night was a particular highlight, with participants bravely sharing songs, poetry, spoken word, tap dance, and stand-up comedy. The presence of families and children was especially strong this gathering and brought joy to everyone.

We are now waiting on the Lord for direction regarding the future of METANOIA and look forward to sharing with you how those plans unfold in the months ahead.
